Ebay baby....Oh Yeah......

I made my 1st sale on Ebay today, WHOOO HOOOOO! Okay, so I'm kinda late getting started on the whole ebay thing, but it's all good. I am learning how to work it, work it.

Let me tell ya', I made a very nice turn-around profit on a $225.00 pair of BCBG Max Azria heels that I picked up on sale at Dillards for $6.99.:) Um...actually like a, right around, 500% profit. Oh yeah baby, that's the fun way to make some Dinero'.

1st ya get to go shopping, which is a very cool thing within itself, and 2nd you get to make a lot of money off of the money you spent shopping, which is even better. I think that I am going to get along very well with the world of Ebay..........

Watch out end of Summer sales at Dillards, here I come!!!! It's a slighty hyper day today! "Let's ride, all night, let's shift this thing into overdrive, let's ride all night, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah....."

Rockin' the House 2....

My sis-in-law called me last night, but seeing as I was crashed after a long hard night of dealing with some heathen youth while teaching strenghtening families, I did not hear the phone ring.:) She called to tell me more about the family I had testified about Sunday PM. The oldest daughter, (17) had been somewhat hostile about the whole church thing but was coming because her mom was basically making her. Last night, at youth prayer, she was the last youth in the sanctuary praying so a sister in the church asked her if she had received the Holy Ghost. She told the sister that no she had not but that "her heart was so full." The sister then told her that if she wanted the HG that God was there to give it to her. This precious young lady started weeping and worshipping God again and within 5 minutes she was speaking in tongues. They took her home in the car still speaking in tongues. My sister-in-law was being somewhat of a "Doubting Thomas" after receiving a text message stating "F------ got the HG." Until, the family pulled up at her house and told her to come out to the car because they had a gift for her. She went out to the car and there was this young lady just shaking under the power of God with tears rolling down her cheeks still speaking in tongues, in the car, 25 minutes out to the house, later!:) God is so COOL!!!!

I had to physically restrain myself while talking to her on the phone, because I was at work. First I started crying, and then I just wanted to jump up and scream and take off shouting all over the office. I was politically correct and contained my baser instincts, but tonight at church;).................. well we'll just have to see how restrained I stay, hmmmmm......

I have to say it definitely renewed my faith and gave me confidence that God has me dealing with these psycho, aunrey kids for a reason.:) (I really love them to death. They actually love me too, probably cause I'm just as nutso as they are;P) This whole "Strengthening Families Session" that God is allowing me to teach through the local school district has opened a door for me to reach out to 7 brand new, beautiful families in our community that have never been to our church. God's plan is perfect and I can't wait to see the end result.

Rockin' the House.......

Church was absolutely amazing last night. God Rocks! There was such an air of expectancy before the 1st note was ever played for the worship service. The spirit fell so powerfully during the worship service that a young lady began to seek the HG.

The service moved on with the usual procedure and the chorale prepared to sing. I felt led of the spirit to give a testimony before the chorale sang, which I do not normally do.

I testified about neighbors of my Brothers whom they had been witnessing too and become good friends with since they became acquainted. The man had a drug problem and had been trying for a number of years to overcome it. He had moved his family to make a fresh start but this last year had fallen again into an extremely destructive drug habit. He was once again entangled in this habit to the point of violent behavior. In May, while my Sis., from here, was there babysitting for my Brother, the man had an incident and the wife called the police and he was taken into custody. My sister felt led to invite the children to youth service and sent my nephew over to do so. Even though the family had been invited many times before, this time must have been the right time. Their mother allowed the children to come and they were greatly moved and comforted by the presence of God.

To make a long story short. The family started visiting CGC, the church pastored by my brother, just trying to find an answer to their situation. God began working in their lives and yesterday morning the father, with the drug habit, and the 2 children received the HG and were baptized in the precious name of Jesus. The Mother had requested to be baptized during last nights service.

Though this happened many miles away and at another church, our church was greatly encouraged by this. The chorale sang and the Holy Ghost fell so powerfully that our Assistant Pastor was unable to preach. People began to dance and worship and the young lady who had begun seeking the HG during song service was moved once again. She came to seek the Lord, but with even more fervor and this time with a broken spirit. With tears streaming down her face she began to commit her life to God and ask for change. The Holy Ghost fell on her so powerfully she could not control herself and she spoke with other tongues for about thirty minutes and literally shook under the awesome power of God. God rocked her world. A spirit of joy came upon her and came upon the church. The church started shouting, running, and claiming future victories with exuberant praise as the Associate Pastor admonished them to shout with a voice of triumphant.

The Holy Ghost rain is falling again at AFT. It seemed as though we went through a dry spell for a season, but the last few weeks God has been doing a new thing once again. Last night was a breakthrough event and the spirit of God most definitely rocked the house! Every day with Jesus just gets Sweeter:)............

"Just living is not enough... One must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower"......

We took a walk through the fresh beauty of nature in her splendid coat of many colors. It refreshed the mind, the soul, and the spirit. The simplicity of feeding feathered friends cheerios, the awe and laughter of a 20 month old as gosslings nibbled the treats around her feet and shared the communication that only children of all species can understand inspired awe in a work-worn soul. Feeling the beauty of God and all that he is in the gentle breeze that caressed us as we took a part of nature settling into her evening routine rendered the renewal of childlike wonder in our sometimes jaded vision and reminded us of his inate faithfulness. The cycle of life continues even when we feel that things stand still and become stagnate. God keeps moving forward and offers the phenoma of his creation to remind us what beauty is in it's purest form.

The awe of a child as they discover a worm inching along; turtles nipping bugs off of the top of the water; fish playing in the cool of sundown; children fishing with hot dogs as bait; the flavor of flowers; the feel of sand sifting through their fingers; and, all of the interesting things a brand new world has to offer is as refreshing as a long cool drink of water after a long hot journey.

King of all I survey......

Do flowers taste yummy?
